A child-friendly foundational screener and targeted practice pathway focused on early literacy readiness and the underlying skills young learners need.
Main Reading Intervention
A systematic reading intervention pathway that uses placement, direct instruction, cumulative review, mastery evidence, and remediation to guide instruction.
The NEST approach
The goal is not to move every child through the same activities at the same speed. NEST uses a consistent instructional sequence while adjusting the starting point, practice, review, and remediation to the learner.
Start with information about what the child can already do and where support is needed.
Use clear, structured instruction with high opportunities for the child to respond and practice.
Record performance so decisions are based on evidence rather than impressions alone.
Advance when skills are secure, or provide repair and additional practice when they are not.

NEST is designed to make that next step clearer. Assessment information, lesson performance, and mastery checks are used together to guide individualized instruction.
The programs are educational supports and do not replace medical, psychological, or clinical evaluation when those services are needed.
